Each event has an Event Champion. This volunteer takes accountability for the success of the event.

They must:

  1. Make sure the Azure DevOps ticket for the event is up to date:

    1. Make sure a risk assessment for the event has been carried out to the best of their abilities.​

    2. Make sure the ticket is updated with actual figures once the event has finished.

  2. Make sure the event information is correct in our public Google Calendar.

  3. Make sure there is a page dedicated to event under our Events section.

    1. and that there is a volunteers form available for volunteers to sign up for the event,

    2. as well as any other forms required for participants to fill in.

    3. If tickets are being sold for the event, make sure ​there is a Wix event created and published.

  4. Make sure the committee is always informed of all decisions made.

  5. Make sure the committee has approved any spending.

  6. Make sure that volunteers receive enough information to be effective and have a good time.

  7. Make sure attendees receive enough information to be certain how to participate and make the most out of the event.
